Paritätische Akademie International: Further education travel - international travel education (ite)
Travel broadens the mind - as the saying goes. Social work has taken this saying to heart from its very beginning. Social workers have always used their personal travels to learn about new methods of social work, new points of view and unknown supply patterns in foreign countries. They do so, because it is always easier to modify a good idea for one's own needs than to completely reinvent it.
ite – stands for »international, travel, education«.
We connect these three terms with ite-travel to form an integrated whole and make your travels an active experience of new knowledge.
ite-travels are travels abroad, planned by the Paritätische Akademie with a focus on specific topics regarding social work in foreign countries.
We travel to European, Asian and North American countries to meet interesting people and learn about their work. This includes visits to projects and social organisations in the respective countries and establishment of experience and expertise exchanges with experts on location. An employee of the Paritätische Akademie will accompany the travellers to ensure a smooth journey and help to answer any questions with regard to the topic.
